Former brass foundry on Minerva Street
Built in 1869 for J & W Young, ships' plumbers and brass founders. https://canmore.org.uk/site/172592/glasgow-131-minerva-street-brass-foundry . This view is looking towards Exhibition Centre railway station which is the grey building on the right. The Finnieston crane and part of the Clyde Arc are visible in the distance.
Plans to demolish the building and erect an apartment block on the site were approved in March 2023. Historic Environment Scotland issued a 'Certificate of Intention Not to List' for the building in October 2022, concluding it is not of special architectural or historic interest.
