Glasgow subway exhibit
Within Kelvin Street Image in the Museum of Transport. The red coach on the left was of the type that was used until 1977 when the system was closed for modernisation. The Glasgow system (which is the third oldest in the world) is quite claustrophobic compared with most others.

Kelvin Hall
The Kelvin Hall has been home to a wide variety of Glasgow's events, from circus to carnival, exhibitions, music performances, sporting events etc. The building was converted to accommodate the Museum of Transport and the Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena in 1987. Now the Transport Museum is moving and the future of the Kelvin Hall is in doubt. It is seen here from the Argyll Street entrance to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
