Ox & Finch restaurant, Glasgow
This restaurant in Sauchiehall Street was very busy when we visited. The waiters told us forcibly that food was tapas style for sharing, brought out from the kitchen as it became ready - portions much larger than Spanish tapas, interesting food with some arab influence.

Sauchiehall Street Glasgow near Kelvingrove Park
The buildings on the left are restaurants and hotels. Beneroti Restaurant has both Indian and Italian menus. We stayed in the Argyll Hotel, further along on the left. A convenient area near the park and university, with frequent buses to the city centre and on the route of the hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus.

Lorne Hotel, Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow
A modern building replacing 19th Century terraces, maybe looking rather out of place when surrounding buildings are all in older styles.

Former Kelvingrove Parish Church with worker on roof
Finnieston Free Church was renamed Kelvingrove Parish Church and is now converted to flats. It was designed by architect James Sellars with a classical portico facing Derby Street, four pillars and a pediment, built in 1880. In the photo a workman has used a cherry picker in Bentinck Street to reach the roof, and is on the short tower which supports the stone lantern.
