The Hindu community has had a temple in Glasgow since 1971 but the present mandir just outside Kelvingrove Park http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6198477 was opened in 2006.

Former Queen's Rooms, La Belle Place
Built in 1857 by Charles Wilson for David Bell of Blackhall as an assembly rooms to celebrate the Arts and Sciences, it later became First Church of Christ Scientist before its current use as a Hindu Mandir. Listed Category A http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB33082
