Oor fingerprint fun
One of the artworks in the Oor Wullie's wee Bucket Trail. Oor fingerprint fun, created by Callander Primary School is located inside the Mitchell Library in Glasgow. We wanted our design to include a contribution from all of our children which led us to think about finger printing and painting. Our design is made up of over 250 different finger prints, the whole school has played a part in creating our sculpture. This sculpture is sponsored on behalf of Alexander MacKenzie. Oor Cosmic Wullie
One of the artworks in the Oor Wullie's wee Bucket Trail. Oor Cosmic Wullie, created by the Royal Hospital for Children – Ward 4 – Psychiatry Inpatient Unit is located inside the Mitchell Library in Glasgow.. Young people who are patients in Ward 4 in the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow attend art classes provided by the Hospital Education Service. This has been a fun group activity with lots of super ideas. The young people finally agreed on designing a Cosmic themed Oor Wullie. The sculpture has been decorated with silver and metallic paints and Oor Wullie's dungarees are covered in cosmic symbols; the moon, planets and stars. We think he looks fabulous. This sculpture is sponsored by IBCWealth.com. See https://www.oorwullie.com/wullies/oor-cosmic-wullie/.

Oor Xavier
One of the artworks in the Oor Wullie's WEE Bucket Trail. Oor Xavier, created by St Aloysius' College Junior School is located inside the Mitchell Library. Oor Xavier' was designed by the children in Xavier House. Each child in Xavier was given the task of creating their own sculpture using 'school life' as their inspiration. Sections of 4 designs were then chosen by our House Captains and used to create 'Oor Xavier'. The bucket signifies the 4 House colours within the Junior School, the tartan trousers are for our Scottish heritage, the shirt symbolises our subjects and activities within the school and the rainbow hair and red nose - well, why not!
