Disused railway tunnel
This now bricked up and gated tunnel once carried the Glasgow Central Railway line under Kelvingrove Park, between Kelvinbridge and Stobcross stations. The line closed in 1964.

River Kelvin

Gibson Street bridge
The bridge carries Gibson Street over the River Kelvin and the former Glasgow Central Railway line Image A ramp has been formed on the former railway line to prevent floodwater from the Kelvin travelling down the tunnel to the existing railway network.

The entrance to Kelvingrove tunnel
This was part of the Central Glasgow line of the Caledonian Railway. Most of the line was underground. The ramp on the right leads up to Eldon Street.
