Located at 55 Renfrew Street G2 3BD, this TE has the code WSDOU and provides telephone and broadband services to 8,360 residential and 1,805 non-residential premises in Glasgow City Centre north. Until the late 1960s, it had DOUglas telephone numbers, but now has 0141-331,332 and 333 xxxx numbers. In front of the TE, two buses belonging to McGill's Bus Service Ltd are parked waiting to pick up passengers nearby.

This photo shows the rear of the TE in Renfrew Lane. Incidentally, the Douglas TE may have taken its name from Douglas Street nearby, this running from Argyle Street to Sauchiehall Street crossing Bath Street, Bothwell Street, St Vincent Street, West George Street and West Regent Street.
