View from the Lighthouse
The Lighthouse has a gantry which gives superb rooftop views of Glasgow. The Lighthouse in Glasgow is Scotland's Centre for Design and Architecture. It was opened as part of Glasgow's status as UK City of Architecture and Design in 1999. The Lighthouse is the renamed conversion of the former offices of the Glasgow Herald newspaper.

Indiana Jones set, Glasgow
Much of Central Glasgow was made to look like 1960s New York for filming of scenes for the latest movie in the Indiana Jones series. This view shows horses on Renfield Street, with the 'Irn Bru clock' advertising screen at Central Station in the background.
