St Andrew's in the Square, Glasgow
Looking across the nave towards the altar of the former church http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6195221 . It was opened as a Presbyterian church in 1756, taking 17 years to complete. The church closed in 1993 and re-opened as a Centre for Traditional Scottish Music, Song and Dance in 2000.

The chancel with timberwork and plasterwork of very fine quality. The classical church of St Andrews in the Square was built in 1756 as the centrepiece of a symmetrical square. The interior is very impressive and has been restored to its original elegance. Now Glasgow's Centre for Scottish Culture, promoting Scottish music, song and dance.
