Central Station, Glasgow
View along Argyle Street as it passes underneath the rail station. The underpass was bustling with afternoon shoppers and travellers rushing to catch trains from this large imposing station http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glasgow_Central_station.
The Grant Arms right of picture is one of only two remaining buildings from the village of Grahamston which was flattened in the 1870s to make way for the construction of Glasgow Central railway station. The other survivor is The Rennie Mackintosh Hotel on Union Street. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3420529
