SWSEB electricity cabinet
An electricity cabinet on Orleans Avenue, marked SWSEB (South West Scotland Electricity Board). This electricity board ceased to exist in 1955, when it merged with the South East Scotland Electricity Board to become the South of Scotland Electricity Board. Still in use, the cabinet is now the responsibility of SP Distribution.

Electricity distribution box
The metal box is beside Eastcote Avenue. It bears the cast coat of arms of Glasgow Corporation and the words: 'Glasgow Corporation Electricity Department'. The current suppliers (SP Distribution) can only manage a couple of stickers.

Three Craws
Public house off (seemingly appropriately) Crow Road. However, apparently Craw Road (now Crow Road) came from the Gaelic ‘cradh’, meaning cattle. It was a droving route from the north and west to Dumbarton Road into Glasgow.
