Glasgow buildings [51]
This delightful building is a rare survival of an 18th century town house. Built in Palladian style in 1775 the building was used for a number of purposes and was semi derelict in the 1990s. Restored it became the headquarters of The Scottish Civic Trust. There is a fine article about the house at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobacco_Merchant%27s_House Listed, category A, with details at: http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB32760
