Going For The Train
Passengers on their way from Central Station to Queen Street Station on a fine February afternoon. Until taking this shot, I hadn't realised that so many Scots wear dark clothes in the winter.

Corner of 106 Buchanan Street and Royal Bank Place, Glasgow
Some extraordinary ornamentation is displayed by this building, which identifies itself as Nationwide House. There are some almost-eroded relief letters just right of centre, top. They read 'Royal Insurance Building'. Unaware of the camera are some Geograph members, left to right: Mike Richardson, Gordon Brown, Richard Sutcliffe and Anne Burgess. Richard led this walk in the Merchant City, Georgian Glasgow, which was the subject of an engaging talk by Dr Tony Lewis before the AGM.
