Jury's Glasgow Hotel.
Jury's Glasgow hotel was originally the "Pond Hotel". It was opened by the Reo Stakis Organisation. That company was named after Reo Stakis, a Greek Cypriot who came to Glasgow as a young man and made his fortune in the restaurant and hotel trade. The company was bought over by the Hilton Hotels group.

The former boating pond was naturalised in 2003 by planting round the edges and creating two islands. The pond now supports a wide variety of waterfowl and other wildlife. The houses in the background are in Kelvindale.
