The A814 Clydeside Expressway in Glasgow closed to all traffic for the COP26 Climate Change Summit
The A814 in Glasgow, also known as the Clydeside Expressway, has been partly closed as planned for the COP26 Climate Change Summit. This busy A class road connects the west of the city to the centre and the M8 motorway. Its closure is expected to cause significant traffic disruption in Glasgow. The planned closure commenced on Saturday 23rd October 2021 and will remain in place until Monday 15th November 2021.

Train, Partick station (1985)
A three-car class 314 emu (314.206), in Strathclyde Passenger Transport Executive livery, calling at Partick with the 13.40 Motherwell – Dalmuir. The stock was derived from the Southern Region’s “PEP” emu – see this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_314 for more information. Note the degree of cant on the curve. Electric Train Departing From Partick Train station
An electric train departs from Partick train station on a westbound service from platform 2. The photograph was taken from platform 1. Partick station is a large glass structure as can be seen from the waiting area in the background. This busy interchange station sees around 16 trains per hour passing through. In the basement there is an underground subway station.
