Typical of three-storey semi-detached houses in the area. Most of these were originally family houses but many of these have been converted over the years into apartments, some as permanent flats, others as holiday lets. A few have been joined together and converted into hotels.

Information for Cocklers
The sign by the car park Image exit to the foreshore South of St Annes has a large notice stating "No vehicle access to this part of the foreshore without permits" in English, Polish, Chinese and Arablic. A second notice attached to the signpost refers to the closure of the Ribble Estuary Cocklebeds. Meanwhile the dandelions are flourishing on the dunes.
