To the old docks
Taken at the entrance walkway to Fleetwood Marsh Nature Park off Windward Avenue, Fleetwood, Lancashire, I am looking north past the housing development around the marina and the Affinity Outlet (left of shot) towards the site of the former docks.

Fleetwood Shipwrecks
The wrecks of old ships can be seen on the banks of the River Wyre, on the eastern side of the Fleetwood Marsh Nature Park.

Shipwrecked
The Fleetwood Wrecks are a group of old boats abandoned on Fleetwood marshes, which are slowly rotting away. It is possible to walk up to them, but wellingtons are definitely required in the winter months when the ground can become extremely boggy. Care is also required at high tide as there are some deep channels on the marshes.
