Queen's Terrace, Fleetwood
Overlooking the River Wyre. Dating from 1844, the terrace gives the impression of being of military origins. That is apparently not the case, just that the architect, Decimus Burton, had grand design ideas!

Canshe Bank and Fleetwood
Taken from the path running alongside the northern end of Knott End Golf Club, Knott End, Lancashire, I am looking west across the Wyre estuary to Fleetwood. Its two lighthouses can be seen to the right of shot and Fleetwood RNLI's Shannon class lifeboat can be seen moored in the estuary.

Fleetwood Ferry
Taken on Queen's Terrace, Fleetwood, Lancashire, this is the site of the Fleetwood to Knott End ferry. The tram and bus interchange is off to the left of shot. The snow-covered peaks of the Cumbrian mountains can be seen in the distance.
