Lancashire Coastal Way, Knott End-on-Sea
The green in front of the coastal houses near is private and each house has a sign relating to dogs and their owners.
"Please keep your owner on a lead."

Knott End-on-Sea is a village in Lancashire, England, situated on the southern side of Morecambe Bay, across the Wyre estuary from Fleetwood.

Barrow-in-Furness across the bay
Walking along the Lancashire Coastal Way at Knott End-on-Sea, Lancashire, I spotted this little egret on the edge of the muddy flats foraging around for food. Barrow-in-Furness can be seen on the horizon.

Shops in Lancaster Road, Knott End-on-Sea, Lancs
The shop nearest the camera at 22-24 Lancaster Road, is E F X, a beauty nails and tanning studio, and is on the corner of Lancaster Road and St. Bernard's Road. To the right at No. 20 is KT's Hair Studio Unisex, a hairdresser and to the right at No. 18 are offices which at the time the photo was taken were for sale. They had been occupied as a branch office of Inghams, a firm of solicitors with various offices in Blackpool, Fleetwood and elsewhere, but the branch had apparently closed.
