Properties on The Esplanade
#3 The Esplanade, Knott End is a restaurant simply known as THREE. #6 is the Knott End Gallery http://www.knottendgallery.co.uk/ I suspect ##4 and 5 are now part of the aforementioned businesses. The large adjoining property is Quinton House which has been converted into flats.

The last bank in town
The title refers to the branch being used as part of the NatWest's "Customer Charter" campaign in 2011. The TV advert showed two female staff members stood underneath an umbrella in the rain outside the bank with the vow: "We will continue to provide banking services wherever we're the last bank in town." Four years on NatWest, whose slogan is "helpful banking", announced the last branch in Knott End would close in September 2015 with only an ATM available, meaning the nearest bank is eight miles away.
