Shops on the corner of Lancaster Road and Clarence Avenue, Knott End-on-Sea, Lancs
The shop on the corner at No. 50 is Over Wyre Vintners, an off-licence, and next to it and also at No. 50 is Shoreway Fisheries, a fishmongers and quite a rarity these days. Next to that at No. 52 is Carlito's, a restaurant and takeaway, selling pizzas, kebabs, burgers etc. To the left of that is a shop which appears to be either a gift shop or a charity shop. There is no name over the shop front.

Millennium Clock, Barton Square, Knott End-on-Sea
This attractive clock was installed to celebrate the Millennium (the year 2000). Barton Square is where Wyre View, Barton Avenue and Lancaster Road meet. There is a plaque on one of the walls by the clock which reads: "Time and Tide MM Knott End and Preesall Millennium Clock wait for no man".

Town clock, Barton Square
The paved area surrounding the base of the clock consists of tiles hand-made by local schoolchildren (I particularly like the one with the pet guinea-pig! - Image ).

Wyre View, Knott End-on-Sea
This road, known as Wyre View, forms part of the B5270. There is a mix here of residential and retail. The businesses include the Village Steak House, Donaldson's D.I.Y., Computer Craft Centre, and others.
