The last day of trams on Dickson Road -8
Dickson Road was the last section of traditional street tramway in Blackpool.
Here, an illuminated 'standard' double-deck tram is seen at Thornton Gate on a special tour organised by the Merseyside Tramway Preservation Society to commemorate the closure.

Temporary footpath across the tramway, Gloucester Avenue, Cleveleys
This footpath has been laid over the tramway rails. It provides a link between Gloucester Avenue, and Rossall Road, during the period the tramway is rebuilt to accept the new longer and wider trams, which will be in service from 2012.
