Starr Gate shops
Currently comprising a hairdresser, cafe and bookmaker. The white tiling suggests a date roughly contemporary with the nearby railway station (1931, station buildings now demolished). The apartments to the left are obviously more recent.

Blackpool: New trams now in service
On Wednesday 4 April 2012, the Blackpool to Fleetwood tramway reopened throughout after complete modernisation, including the purchase of 16 new 'Flexity' trams, built by Bombardier. One of the new cars, No 007, is seen here at Starr Gate.
