Pepsi monorail at the Pleasure Beach
The pillars of the old Cableway also feature in the picture - that was closed in 2000 and taken down due to the dangers of exposure to high wind speeds. Only when I uploaded the picture did I notice that the monorail is running with one of its doors open!

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
The last section of the Grand National ride. Opened in 1935, this is one of Blackpool's classic roller coasters. It is one of only three surviving Moebius Loop roller coasters in the world, and the only one left in Europe. The two trains race each other over a course of about 1km.
