A Blackpool Balloon Tram
The Blackpool tramway runs from Blackpool to Fleetwood on the Fylde Coast in Lancashire, England, and is the only surviving first-generation tramway in the United Kingdom. The tramway dates back to 1885 and is one of the oldest electric tramways in the world.

South Shore, Blackpool
Ow, my eyes! This is the South Shore, where all amusements are clustered together in a dense, giddy funland. The boxy, yellow structure is the entrance to the South Pier, and the building behind it with the golden windows is an indoor waterpark. Dominating the scene is the "Big One" roller coaster, once the tallest in the world.

'Brush' car No 622 on the South Promenade, Blackpool
This car built by Brush in 1937, still retained its double indicators and green and cream livery in 1974, but was disfigured by the huge roof-mounted advertising panels. The car still exists in 2009 and is regularly in service, but of course it has by now lost its double indicators, and is in all-over advertising livery (for Pontins).
