Ma Kellys Central

After the Storm in Blackpool
After two days of gale force winds of up to 90mph the clean up in Bairstow Street Blackpool continued. With many local streets closed due to falling slates, ridge tiles, signs, etc the streets were full of debris and hazardous place to be. Image

Your carriage awaits
A landau outside Madame Tussauds. Drivers of horse drawn hackney carriages, also known as landaus, are licensed for the safety of the public and the protection of the animals under their control. All landau drivers are issued with an identification badge with a photograph of the driver upon it. There are some 44 licence holders operating along the Promenade between the North and South piers.
