Between the bridges over the Allan Water and the railway, this was a new section of road built in the middle of the 20th century.

Bridge of Allan railway station, Stirling
Opened in 1985 by British Rail on the line from Stirling to Perth, this belatedly replaced an earlier station (1848-1965) of the same name, beyond the bridge in the distance. See Image
