Bridge of Alan, steep brae
Above Stirling University heading up to the Sheriffmuir Road. It's hard to say whether this is a natural fault or if man decided to quarry the rock in order to make a road into the hills. Whatever the origin this place is rather spectacular.

The University of Stirling
Stirling may not be the oldest or most glamorous of Scottish Universities but it surely has one of the most beautiful campuses anywhere. It's set in the grounds of Airthrey Castle, watched over by the Ochil Hills and the ridge of Dumyat (in the background here) with its ever-changing colours.
