Gate posts at the end of Main Street, Gartmore
Through the gates, the road leads to the Gartmore Village Gate, a Category B listed building, dating from 1790. It provides access from the village to the Gartmore Estate.

Cunninghame Graham Memorial
The memorial is to Robert Bontine Cunninghame Graham, also known as "Don Roberto". He was an explorer, travel writer and a leading light of C20 politics, credited as a founder of the labour movement and the Scottish National Party. Born into wealth, he campaigned for the rights of the oppressed. He was even imprisoned for taking part in a demonstration. He travelled mostly in South America and this memorial is also for his favourite horse, Pampa.

Gartmore Community Shop
Owned by the community since 1998, Gartmore Shop is at the heart of the historic village of Gartmore. Apart from selling everything you would expect in a village shop, local craftspeople are able to sell their wares in the shop

Dark clouds over the Black Bull
The Black Bull Inn is a Category C listed http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB50416 late 18th or early 19th century (with later alterations) public house in the centre of Gartmore. The inn sign Image says 'founded 1740', suggesting it was preceded by an earlier building.
