Footbridge over the River Carron
This wooden footbridge, in Carron Glen Nature Reserve, is supported on a metal framework. On this side of the bridge, the path leads up the slope to join the main road through Fankerton. For other views of the bridge, see Image and Image The panel on the other side of the bridge features a map, which shows the boundaries of the nature reserve, and which gives the location and names of various features (mostly pools and waterfalls) along the course of the river. For views of the river from the footbridge, see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1769049 and http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1769055
