One of two plaques sited on a pillar at what was once the entrance gate to the park from Park Drive. Locally known as "The Lido", it is not a lido as such. Crownest Park was laid out as a memorial to King George V and by the 1950s its central feature was the "children's lido" - more a pond with a sandy beach. The park is one of about 471 across the UK that were bestowed to the local communities as protected ground by King George V for outdoor and recreational purposes. The protected status should be managed by FIT (Fields in Trust), formerly the National Playing Fields Association, founded in 1925 by King George V. This building was opened in November 1955 as the British Legion (Scotland), Larbert District Branch, Memorial Hall and Branch Headquarters. Adam Gossart, Chairman of the branch at the time, presided over the opening ceremony, and his name is still remembered in Stenhousemuir with the construction of Adam Gossart Court, a care facility currently managed by Cairn Housing Association. The British Legion hall is situated on the corner of James Street, Stenhousemuir and Park Drive, opposite Crownest Park. It consisted of, on the ground floor, two rooms, kitchen and toilets, while the upper floor was the main hall capable of holding 200 people. At the time it cost £3.800 to build. New looking ASDA (Wallmart).

Unveiled by councillor Adrian Mahoney, Convenor of Economic Development, Falkirk Council on 14th August 2010. Commemorating Stenhousemuir's history as a centre of the great cattle markets of the 18th century. The use of the word 'Heart' in the sculpture title is intentional implying lovers tryst, but also referring to the cattle trysts as they were known. The sculpture is fabricated in cast iron reflecting the connection with nearby Carron Ironworks. The highland cow was also the logo of the former McCowan's toffee factory established in Stenhousemuir in 1922.
