Petrochemical plant
Grangemouth petrochemical plant has been refining oil here since 1924. A pipeline from the North Sea oil fields terminates here, some of the crude oil is refined here, while the surplus is transferred by pipeline to storage tanks near the Forth Rail Bridge.
