Museum and Library
The library takes up the whole of the lower floor and extends to the far end of the grey building at the rear. It provides internet facilities as so many now do. The museum is in the upper floor.

Carron Company pillar box detail, Bo'ness Road
A pillar box made close to home at the Carron Company's ironworks outside Falkirk. Carron was one of several foundries that produced the Royal Mail's red and black pillar boxes, as well as the classic red telephone booths designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott.

On Bo'ness Road. Former Charing Cross and West Parish Church, built in 1883/4 by the Free Church of Scotland, the church was originally named the Zetland Free Church, after its patron, The Earl of Zetland.
