Firs Park
The terracing is starting to grow vegetation, but Firs Park is still recognisable as a football stadium. East Stirlingshire have flitted to Ochilview.

Squeezed between these tenements, this is the entrance to Firs Park where East Stirlingshire F.C. play their home games. It is also where Sir Alex Ferguson began his managerial career.

Former Oddfellows Hall, Grahams Road, Falkirk
Formerly the Loyal Sir John de Graeme Lodge, Category C listed (ref. LB51542) as "a relatively rare survival of a purpose built Oddfellows lodge, characteristic of the development of the order in Scotland from around 1840 onwards". The building is now occupied by Megazone Laserquest.

Firs Park
Former home of East Stirlingshire Football Club, who at the time of submission were chasing neighbours Livingston hard at the top of Division Three. A big improvement after years at the bottom of the league. Once, the crowd's names were actually read over the public address system instead of the teams as in the old joke. East Stirlingshire now play at Ochilview, Stenhousemuir. When I last watched a game here, there were rusting steam locomotives in a yard beyond one goal. Now supermarkets and tin sheds wait to invade the pitch.
