Corrugated cottage off A827 Main Street
Corrugated iron was developed in the 1820's, the first patent for roofing being taken out in 1829 with prefabricated houses following shortly afterwards. In Scotland corrugated buildings started to appear in numbers around 1880, the corrugated church in Killin being built in 1878.

Lodge Breadalbane St Fillans No.815
The Killin Masonic Lodge, received its charter from the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Scotland on 7th February 1895. Originally dating to circa 1845 the building was gifted to the masons by the Earl of Breadalbane in the early 20th century. Above the central window there is a gable breaking the eaves and an inscribed stone, 'LODGE BREADALBANE ST FILLAN No. 815 A.D 1907'.
