Willowherb (Epilobium sp)
I have to admit to not knowing exactly which species of Willowherb this is, except that it's not Rosebay and it's not Greater Willowherb (E hirsutum). It could be Broad-leaved (E montanum) or Marsh (E palustre). From the habitat (open and sunny, beside water) E palustre is perhaps more likely, but willowherbs hybridise readily so it could be a hybrid. Thanks to Val Pollard for helpful suggestions.
