This house is rather startling among the douce bungalows of Drossie Road, but is quite interesting when seen in isolation. Note the matching car port at the back and the clever use of the sloping site.

This is one of the places where the canal widens significantly. There is no obvious reason for it, other than to provide somewhere for boats to wait while oncoming traffic made its way through the nearby tunnel.
