Falkirk Tunnel, north end
The tunnel is mostly dry, but near the north end there is a steady flow from the ceiling that seems to be constant. Other drips can be seen in the water near it. There is a good walkway and handrail on the left, and modern lighting, so the tunnel is easy to walk through.

Emerging From the Tunnel
In a few metres I will emerge from the tunnel into the light, and this was the best of a poor bunch of images taken inside it. Fortunately there is a stout handrail all the way along the towpath, because in the gloom it would be quite easy to fall off the wet slippery setts into the canal. The vertical feature in the middle of the image isn't a fault in the image or camera; it's a fault in the roof of the tunnel which results in a constant flow of water through a hole almost above the towpath.
