Autumn is arriving. The narrow road to Castle Campbell fords the Burn of Care in the centre of the photo. The footbridge has been upgraded - it now has 2 handrails. (See Image)

Ford and Footbridge on the route to Castle Campbell, Dollar
Crossing the Burn of Care. This road cannot be driven by members of the public. You have to leave the car in a small car park at the top of a steep narrow road and walk along this also steep road about 500 yards to the castle. It is advisable to use the footbridge.
