As three planes from the Battle of Britain Flight fly overhead in connection with the aviation display at Leuchars, a meeting in the parish rooms of St James the Great is adjourned for a few minutes. The Ochils provide a stunning backdrop, with the rugby fields of Dollar Academy beneath them.

Devon Way with two bridges
The Devon Way follows the line of an old railway between Dollar and Tillicoultry. It runs in a slight cutting just to the south of Dollar so is crossed by two road bridges.

Dollar Academy rugby pitch
Photograph shows a Royal Navy Sea King SAR helicopter landing on one of Dollar Academy's finest rugby pitches. The exercise was run in conjunction with the Ochils Mountain Rescue Team and Dollar Academy's Duke of Edinburgh Award groups.
