Brewing heritage
Alloa is associated with beer, but of course most, if not all the breweries have gone. Like Scotland's other big brewing centre, Edinburgh you no longer smell the breweries every day.
I have fond memories of Maclay's beer, but sadly it has gone the way of all good things.
