Field and trees south of Point-in-View, Exmouth
Point-in-View chapel and houses was built as a place of worship by the Parminters of A La Ronde, nearby. They believed in the evangelisation of the Jews, and the accommodation by the chapel was for Jewish people. The oak trees in the field were planted to provide wood to build boats to transport converted Jews to Palestine. Some of the trees are listed for this historic, sociological, reason.
