Exmouth railway station frontage
A much rationalized station terminus at the end of the 'Avocet Line', but still with a frequent service of trains, Exmouth station was rebuilt in 1975-76 as a transport interchange. Compared with Southern Region days, the station is currently just a single platform.

Entrance to Exmouth railway station
Viewed in late August 2016, when trains depart at intervals of 30 minutes on weekdays. All trains go to Exeter.
Those leaving at 23 minutes past the hour continue to Paignton station.
Those leaving at 53 minutes past the hour continue to Barnstaple station via the Tarka Line.
