A thatched notice board
I don't think I've ever come across a thatched notice board before. Located within a few tens of metres from the banks of the Exe estuary.

Pub in the Strand, Starcross
The porch on this pub has caused traffic chaos for years. At least nowadays the door has been blocked up so that it is no longer used as an entrance.

Starcross Station and the Exe Estuary and birdwatchers
A coachload of RSPB Stourbridge members were at the station when I visited. They had telescopes, tripods, and long telephoto lenses. This railway station also has the jetty for a ferry to Exmouth.
