A377 bypassing Dunscombe
In the 1930s, the A377 followed a winding road to the left, now an access road for some houses. The wooded cutting ahead straightens the main road.

Dunscombe
A rushy edge to a field at the mouth of the combe, which cuts into the southern slopes of the Creedy valley. On the right is Lower Dunscombe. Seen from a layby formed by a bend of the old A377.
