Bradninch - plaque commemorating Daniel Boone
And the father of Squire Boone was George Boone (Daniel's grandfather) an 18th century Bradninch Quaker who emigrated to Pennsylvania with his family in 1717. There is a memorial with flags inside the church.

Bradninch : St Disens Church
According to legend St Disen was a 7th century Irish hermit who visiting this area, found no place of worship and so built the first church with his own hands. The present church dates from the 13th to the 20th centuries and is home to a magnificent painted screen dating from the 15th century.
