Ford at Broadclyst
This ford runs for about 300 yards across the floodplain of the River Clyst. There is a raised causeway running alongside Station Road.

Broad Clyst Station
View eastward in 1964, towards Sidmouth Junction, Salisbury and London; ex-London & South Western London etc. - Salisbury - Exeter main line. This station was closed 7/3/66, when the main line was demoted in the 60's albeit partially restored more recently.
