Elim Providence Chapel, Exeter
On Northernhay Road. Built in 1839 as a Plymouth Brethren chapel. Cherry & Pevsner: "a broad five-bay front with Ionic pilasters and central pediment, and windows with quite fancifully classical surrounds". Interesting colour scheme as well. Light is reflected from the windows of the Turkish Baths opposite.

The Shakespeare window in Rougemont Hotel, Exeter
The stained glass window in the hotel shows a scene from Shakespeare's play Richard III, with the text from the play below: When last I was at Exeter the Mayor in courtesy show'd me the castle. and call'd it Rougemont; at which name I started, because a bard of Ireland told me once, I should not live long after I saw Richmond. The window includes the royal coat of arms, the badge of Exeter cathedral and the arms of the city of Exeter, three towers on a red (rouge) background
