Across the tidal estuary of the River Torridge. The positions are approximate, At the bottom of the picture are some strange intermittent artefacts that my camera seemed to produce that were visible against featureless skies or seas (I no longer use that camera).

Shifting sand in the mist
Heavy plant is moving sand from one place to another on Instow beach. This has been done in previous years to minimise the problem of sand blowing on the road and to prevent drainage outfalls from becoming blocked.
