Bideford Town Hall is located at the junction of New Road and The Quay at the western end of Bideford Long Bridge.

Bideford town hall and library
This building stands on the corner of Bridge Street and New Road, opposite the west end of the old Bideford Bridge which can be seen in the foreground. It was mostly constructed in 1905 to the design of the Birmingham architect, A.J.Dunn, in what Pevsner and Cherry describe as "quite a playful free Tudor" style. Behind it is St Mary's parish church.

Bideford Police Station
The building to the right with scaffold erected was part of the Tantons Hotel. The arch is the second in from the Bideford end. There are 24 arches in Bideford Long Bridge.
